The Pantry Partnership

The Pantry Partnership

Project goals and what we hope to achieve:
We are looking to run events in communities to show people how to cook and eat both frugally and nutritiously. Through paid events we aim to raise money to support us carrying out this work in low income communities and to support our projects that reduce impact on the environment by wasted fuel and wasted foods.
Why this project is important:
This project not only benefits low income communities and people struggling to make ends meet but it also helps to reduce the mountains of surplus food and waste that we are throwing away in our communities. The project also aims to bring communities together and reduce isolation. It ultimately offer the chance for volunteering and gaining employment skills.
What do you need?:

We are looking for resources in terms of volunteers and general support or sponsorship e.g. from a corporate organisation. We are also looking to use surplus foods and store cupboard staples and am looking for a donation, if possible, of this sort. Importantly we are looking to use a space and kitchen where we can cook up food and hold the workshops and cookery classes.
